AK Steel Holding Corporation is a steelmaking company headquartered in West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio. The company’s name is derived from the initials of Armco, its predecessor company, and Kawasaki Steel Corporation, which contributed several of its production facilities to the company in 1989 in exchange for a large stake in the company.
It establishes time limits for asserting certain claims under this Agreement or arising out of your employment relationship with AKS. It also requires that certain claims be resolved through arbitration rather than through litigation. This Agreement is not, however, an employment agreement and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a contract or promise of continued employment with AKS.
