Tenet Healthcare Corporation is a multinational investor-owned healthcare services company based in Dallas, Texas. Through its brands, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and partnerships, including United Surgical Partners International (USPI),the company operates a number of facility types. Tenet operates 20 surgical hospitals,79 general acute-care hospitals, and had approximately 20,000 licensed beds and 130,000 employees. It had about 470 outpatient centers as of 2016.
